The effect is enhanced so much by the flying suit, helmet and oxygen mask, coupled with sitting in a genuine cockpit. The engine and other sounds add to the overall effect. I flew from RAF Valley to Llandudno then back for circuits (some better than others!). I don’t know if my time on Cessna 150’s helped or hindered but I certainly enjoyed this experience.
